Fun Fact - 'Trick or Treating' was formally known as 'guising' and its origins date back to the 19th century in Scotland and Ireland. For those of you that don't know 'Trick or Treating' is a traditional Halloween custom where mostly children dress up in Halloween costumes and travel from house to house saying the phrase 'Trick or Treat!'. The Treat option normally means the homeowner will provide treats in the form of sweets and the Trick option sometimes refers to an idle threat of causing mischief or misfortune to the home owners or their property. I believe the majority of homeowners involved would pick the sweet option, it seems like the better option to me. 😜
Most of the earrings in the Halloween collection including this spookily sweet design are made from handpainted laser cut acrylic and hypoallergenic stainless steel posts and studs. They all started out from my own hand drawn designs and I've had a fun time making them all. I'm pleased as punch with this collection and I'm sure you all will get some enjoyment out of them too!
